Read more about the Adult Paint Nights

Joey Big Snake is a Blackfoot artist from Siksika First Nation. He is a 3rd year student at Alberta University of the Arts, works with Siksika Board of Education in their STEAMworks program, and IndigeSTEAM as the 2021 Artist-in-Residence.

If you have not seen Joey's work, you can see an amazing artwork at Telus Spark about Morning Star that is part of their Digital Immersion Gallery and current show about One Day on Venus. In the gallery space at Spark, look to the south windows to see his meaningful piece.

Brendon Many Bears is from Siksika First Nation and lives in Calgary.  He is currently working on his online business, selling prints, stickers and doing commissions.  You can find him on Etsy under Burliest Bear.  He's also thinking of becoming a tattoo artist.

Brendon has been doing some archeology work with Siksika Archeology Field School and we are really looking forward to hearing more about this.  Brendon and his sister Aiesha helped at a recent mini-tipi workshop for Fort Mac First Nation people  at a conference at Grey Eagle.
