Steve Saddleback

Advisory Board Member

At the start of my career, I worked and trained in the helping field and supporting women and children within an emergency and transition home setting in Prince George. I later moved up to the Treaty 8 area in Fort St John, where I worked at an addiction center and later with the Doig River First Nation. Since moving to Treaty 7 Territory, in Calgary, I have worked in the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream and construction, supporting in Indigenous Relations across the western provinces. Throughout my career, I have incorporated my advocacy and helping field experience into all my role. I currently work at Stantec Consulting in the Indigenous Business and Relations Team, as a senior corporate lead. I am also a certified Peer Support Worker at Canadian Mental Health.
